Open House: Tiong Bahru Edition
So I haven’t been blogging for a ridonkulous time – it’s been a mad rush of deadlines, project stress, and general start-of-the-year-ness (ok, so it’s mid-feb already). Can’t wait to show you what we’ve been up to later this year. This is what we’ve been up to this weekend, however: we went poking our nosy little noses into homes in Tiong Bahru as part of Open House, the visual arts exhibition that exhibits art in well, people’s homes. It’s a great excuse for a nosyparker like me to peer into kitchens and bookshelves, and to see how other people live their lives. We also loved how it made some household items look like art, and for art to feel as down-to-earth as household items. If you’re keen, it’s on for one more weekend. Dress comfortably, and wear shoes that you can slip in and out of (bless my ballets). Oh, and I have a little photo essay in the OH! magazine Good Stories – bag a copy!
