Aren’t they gorgeous? French illustrator Lapin traipses around cafes in Paris and castles in Europe, pinning down the elusive and the beautiful with pretty watercolours in his sketchbook. I love his portraits of strangers and friends, whether pensive or in mirth. A portrait painted is a portrait purer than a photograph, sometimes. Non?
